Thanksgiving is the time of year where we are thankful for everything that we are given by our loving, gracious God.  He provides us with all kinds of things, ranging from small things to very large things, throughout our lives.  Unfortunately, many of us take this for granted and don't thank and praise Him like we should.  Thanksgiving is the day where we sit down with friends and family and thank God for the blessings He has provided us with throughout the year.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because of this reason.  I am so thankful that He is with me every step of my life and I thank Him just about every day. 

Thanksgiving holiday was started by the Pilgrims after landing at Plymouth in the New World.  They gave a huge feast and invited the natives in the area for a day of thanks for deliverance over the vast and stormy Atlantic Ocean.  Thanksgiving should be like this for us too.  Although we may not be out of the storm yet, we should still thank Him for getting us this far and all the blessings He has so graciously given us.  Below I will list all that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving and I hope that you'll message me what you are thankful for this year and pass this page on to everyone you know.  But even if you don't, please take some time on Thanksgiving day to name a few of things you are thankful for and share it with somebody.

Things I am thankful for:
a loving, gracious, merciful God who was willing to die for me
wise and loving parents
a lovable sister
an AMAZING family (that just keeps growing)
all the blessings God has given to me and my friends
great friends
a warm and comfortable house
a great church
an education
cool stuff for recreation and play
food on my plate every day
thousands of people getting saved every day                                        
God allowing many of my family members to live a long, healthy life
everything else I may not have mentioned
