I
have loved Hummer's since the first time I saw them! Their size, shape,
and power have just amazed me since the start. My favorite version of the
Hummer is the Hummer H2 SUV. The Hummer H1's and Hummer H3's just don't
look the same and just don't match up to the Hummer H2 (in my opinion).
Sure Hummer's are gas guzzling giants, but if you can afford a Hummer, I'm
pretty sure you can afford the gas bill that comes with it. My favorite
color Hummer is a dark blue (maybe with a flame graphic on the sides and front)
because dark blue gives it a stronger and better looking appearance than with a
bright yellow or a red color. The SUV version appeals to me more because
the Hummer H2 SUT just looks odd with part of the back missing. It's
helpful for carrying large loads from Home Depot and hardware stores, but since
I'm not into all that, the SUV version just seems more comfortable.

Basically,
the idea and design of Hummer's were invented in 1979 by AM General. It
was built because the standard military vehicle at the time (the JEEP) couldn't
do all that the military needed to do. It couldn't carry as much weight as
was needed, so the military had to buy more vehicles to carry the weight of all
the men, artillery, and supplies (rations, ammo, and other necessities).
Eventually, the standard Hummer H1 evolved into the
the Hummer H2 as we know today due to it's poor gas mileage. Then, in
2005, GM released the new smaller version of the H2, the H3! The H3 is
smaller than both of the past Hummers and has much better mileage.
Hopefully, GM keeps up the good work and builds an even better (by even better,
I mean better gas mileage, cheaper price, stuff like that) Hummer than all the
rest. To check out some more interesting facts go
